Russia Imports Large Batch of Gasoline from Morocco for the First Time
A tanker carrying approximately 30,000 tons of AI-92 gasoline, loaded in Tangier, Morocco, has arrived at the Russian port of Murmansk.
The import was necessary due to a fuel shortage following strikes on oil refineries. Russia is also increasing railway supplies of gasoline from Belarus and Kazakhstan. According to Reuters sources, the operating refineries currently cover only about 65% of the summer demand for gasoline.
